Travel Update Indonesia

Bangladeshi Citizens can now travel to Indonesia without a visa. This visa on arrival is applicable for a period of 30 days/ 1 month. After a month, the visa will expire and for a longer stay, you will need to take the visa again. While applying for a visa, physical presence is not necessary.

An applicant is required to have 4 documents while applying for a visa. These are:

* A health document which consists of a negative COVID-19 PCR test result within 72 hours before coming to Indonesia.
* COVID-19 vaccination proof/ vaccination certificate of the travellers. The last dose of vaccine must 
be taken at least 14 days before departure. 
* Original Passport or Travel document of Bangladesh with at least 6 months remaining validity on the date 
of travel and have at least 2 visa pages clear of any markings.
* Travel Bookings – A round-trip flight reservation for Indonesia. An Onward Ticket is a flight reservation made by a travel agency / Airline with a valid PNR which can be verified, which is mandatory for visa applications or multi-city flight bookings.

Steps of getting the Visa on arrival: 

* Bangladeshi citizens can arrive in Indonesia without a visa. 
* After arriving, please go to the Indonesia immigration counter. 
* Display travel documents:  Original Passport/ Travel document of Bangladesh, Negative PCR test result, Vaccination Certificates etc. 
* Once you get the entry stamp, you can enter Indonesia and stay for the duration of your stamping.

Travel Update Malaysia

The Ministry of Health, Malaysia has issued a new ruling in which fully vaccinated travellers are no longer required to do any COVID-19 test while entering Malaysia. Any pre-departure COVID-19 RT-PCR test, on arrival COVID-19 RTK-AG test or even quarantine, is not necessary as well. However, partially vaccinated and unvaccinated passengers must carry negative RT-PCR test results before travelling to Malaysia. This new ruling is applicable from May 1, 2022.

Entry Requirements are as follows:

* Install MySejahtera app on your phone. (Android / IOS)
* Complete the pre-departure form on the MySejahtera app before departure
* Verify vaccination certificate through https://mysafetravel.gov.my/
* Travellers travelling from Singapore required a pre-departure COVID-19 rapid antigen test
* Partially vaccinated or unvaccinated passengers must do e pre-departure RT-PCR test 2 days before the journey and a supervised RTK-AG test within 24 hours upon arrival. Moreover, they will need a quarantine for 5 days. 
* COVID-19 insurance is no longer required to enter Malaysia.

Travel Update Singapore

Fully vaccinated travellers can enter Singapore Quarantine-Free under the new Vaccinated Travel Framework (VTF) issued by the Ministry of Health in Singapore. This new regulation will be effective from 26 April 2022 and applicable to travellers from any of the Ministry of Health’s General Travel Category countries/regions.

For entry purposes by CAAS circular and follow the requirements are given below effective from 26-Apr-2022 until further instruction: 
Important Information for passengers: 

* Fully vaccinated travellers, at least 14 days before travel, can enter Singapore without any quarantine. 
* QR Code scan-able Vaccination certificate is mandatory for passengers including passport name, passport number or date of birth, Vaccination Name, Vaccination date, Country name of vaccination. 
* RT-PCR test for travel is not necessary for fully vaccinated passengers. 
* For Non-Vaccinated except child below 12 years requires an RT-PCR test.
* Entry approval is not necessary for fully vaccinated travellers.
* Entry approval is not required for Singapore citizens and PR holders.
* Work permit holder on IPA in CMP sector construction, shipyard and process sector need to obtain entry approval until 30 April.
* Unvaccinated/partially vaccinated need to obtain Entry approval.
* Mandatory E-Health Declaration or SG Arrival Card is required within Three days of flight departure.

Travel Update Thailand

The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) has issued a new circular on which fully vaccinated and unvaccinated travellers can travel without any negative pre-departure RT-PCR test and don’t need to undergo a test on arrival, effective from 1st May 2022.

The CAAT has come to an agreement on eliminating Test&Go, Sandbox and Alternative Quarantine for the incoming travellers, and replacing them by issuing passengers into two categories: Vaccinated and Non-Vaccinated.

Fully Vaccinate Travellers:

No more pre-departure and on-arrival covid test for fully vaccinated travellers. However, they need to complete registration for the Thailand pass. In order to register for a Thailand pass, you need to 

* Attach Passport
* Attach Vaccination Card
* Health Insurance for the coverage of 10,000 USD

Travel Regulations:

* Travellers, aged 18 years or more, must be fully vaccinated for covid-19, at least 14 days before travelling to Thailand.
* Travellers between 12-17 years and unaccompanied, must take at least 1 dose of the approved covid-19 vaccine. If they travel with their parents, then they are exempt from this requirement.
* Travellers under 12 years of age, travelling with parents, are exempt from this requirement.
* Travellers reaching through water borders must be fully vaccinated. However, this is exempt for travellers under 18 years of age, travelling with parents or guardians.
* If you have a history of COVID-19 infection, then you must show a medical certificate of COVID-19 recovery and receive at least 1 dose of an approved vaccine.

For non-vaccinated travellers:

In order to register for a Thailand pass, you need to 

* Attach passport
* AQ hotel booking for 5 days
* Payment confirmation of 1 time PCR test
* Insurance for the coverage of 10,000 USD
* PCR test on day 4/5.

Once arriving in Thailand, they must proceed to undergo quarantine for 5 days and undergo an RT-PCR test on Day 5.

Travel Update Bangladesh

The Department of Health issued a new circular on April 7, 2022, in which passengers can fill up the Health Declaration Form (HDF) online before arriving in Bangladesh.

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) International Health Rules 2005, it is mandatory for incoming travellers to fill out a Health Declaration Form (HDF) during the Public Health Emergency of International Concern (PHEIC). At present, the rate of COVID-19 has decreased in different countries of the world including Bangladesh and most of the people have been vaccinated with COVID-19. Passengers arriving in Bangladesh had to fill up the Health Declaration Form (HDF) manually and submit it to the Health Desk. For such a process, passengers have to stand in the queue for a long time.

To relieve passengers of this problem, the MIS branch of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Bangladesh prepared an online Health Declaration Form (HDF). The guidelines for the online Health Declaration Form (HDF) are as follows:

* Incoming passengers have to fill online Health Declaration Form (HDF) 3 days before entering Bangladesh. After completing the HDF, passengers will be able to download and print a health declaration card with a QR code. The link to fill out the online Health Declaration Form (HDF) is http://healthdeclaration.dghs.gov.bd. 

* Incoming passengers will be confirmed by the airline operators before boarding whether they have HDF with QR code.

* Incoming passengers will show the completed Health Declaration Card with QR code (soft copy or print copy) to Immigration.

* If any passenger has symptoms of Covid-19, he/she should go to the health desk for an immigration health check-up before immigration.

Travel Update Canada

Fully Vaccinated Travellers are no longer required to do a COVID-19 test and carry the negative report before their flights to Canada. This new ruling is effective from 1 April 2022 for all fully vaccinated travellers. Upon arrival in Canada, some travellers will be selected randomly for testing but will not require quarantine until receiving the test result.

However, travellers arriving before 1 April 2022 will need to provide a pre-departure COVID‑19 rapid antigen test result (taken 48 hrs before their flight) or a molecular test (taken 72 hrs before flight). The rapid antigen test must be conducted at a laboratory, healthcare entity or telehealth service. Home self‑tests will not be accepted for travel.

Quarantine is mandatory for unvaccinated travellers with mandatory testing on arrival and on day 8 as well. Unvaccinated travellers will be allowed to enter Canada upon meeting one of the few exemptions.

Children travelling with fully vaccinated travellers will not require quarantine and other restrictions.

Passengers who have previously tested positive for COVID‑19 are required to provide proof of a positive COVID‑19 molecular test conducted between 14 and 180 days prior to departure, instead of a negative COVID‑19 molecular test.

Travel Update Kolkata

 

Fully vaccinated travellers are no longer required to do an RT-PCR COVID-19 test before travelling and can enter quarantine free. However, non-vaccinated passengers aged over 5 years need a mandatory RT-PCR COVID-19 test, 72 hours before the journey.

All passengers must submit a self-declaration form on Air Subdha Portal before their scheduled flight. In the portal, they must upload a copy of the COVID-19 Vaccination Certificate or RTPCR COVID-19 Negative Report. A printed hard copy of the filled form needs to be carried during boarding. Plus, onboarding the flight, passengers need to present vaccination certificates as well.

Travel Update Nepal

Nepal announced that fully vaccinated international travellers can enter the country without pre-departure tests. Passengers have to provide a vaccination certificate showing a full dose of vaccination against COVID-19, completed at least 14 days prior to entering Nepal. A printed copy of the online form (International Traveler Online Arrival Form) to be filled by logging in to ccmc.gov.np.

Passengers without vaccination or incomplete vaccination before arriving in Nepal will need to show Negative COVID-19 test report done within 72 hours of boarding from the airport or if you are entering through the land border, done within 72 hours of entry.

After arriving in Nepal

Passengers with any COVID-19 related symptoms while entering Nepal may undergo health check-up. A mandatory antigen test (at your own expense) at the entry point if any symptoms are found. If tested positive, you are required to go to an isolation centre designated by the Ministry of Health and Population, the Government of Nepal, or to a hospital. 

(Note: all the expenses including but not limited to, hotel quarantine, hospital, insurance, isolation, COVID-19 test etc. shall be borne by the traveller him/herself)

Unvaccinated travellers are required to give valid reasons for not being vaccinated. Vaccinated individuals can apply for a visa at the Embassy with a vaccination certificate of full dose completed 14 days before expected entry into Nepal and regular visa-related documents.

Travel Update Saudi Arabia

Saudi Arabia has removed all testing and quarantine restrictions. Guests are no longer required to hold a vaccination certificate against COVID-19 to travel to Saudi Arabia.  Guests must download the Tawakkalna app and register their details within 8 hours of arrival.

Travel Update Maldives

PCR test result is not mandatory for any passenger(vaccinated or unvaccinated) during arrival and departure. All passengers are required to complete the Traveler Health Declaration form (IMUGA) within 48 hours of the flight time.
Travel-related quarantine is not required by any traveller. However, except for the arriving tourists and Maldivians (residing in the Maldives) to the Maldives, other travellers are advised to do a PCR test between the 3rd and 5th day of arrival.
Passengers must have confirmed return or onward tickets together with necessary visas, genuine pre-paid hotel booking and a valid passport with a Machine-Readable Zone (MRZ).

Updated Travel Advisory for India

Online Air Suvidha registration & TN ePass is mandatory. Air Suvidha online registration should be completed with the genuine address in India & a valid contact number for further communication. Passengers must upload the vaccine certificate and COVID test report on the Air Suvidha portal. Quarantine is not required for passengers travelling to India.

Vaccinated passengers (double dose) will not need to complete pre and post-arrival COVID tests. Those tests will still be required for unvaccinated passengers 5 years of age and above. Below 5 years are exempted.

Sri Lanka Travel Update

Fully vaccinated travellers don’t need to quarantine or present evidence of a negative COVID-19 (PCR/Rapid Antigen) test. Non-vaccinated travellers aged 12 years or above need to carry a Negative report in English with QR code for the PCR Test taken 72 hours before travel along with a Vaccination Card in English.
One-month insurance is mandatory for all tourists. The insurance can be purchased online for USD 12 with coverage of USD 50,000 including hospitalization if needed due to COVID-19 infection.
The Health Declaration Form can be filled up here with the following documents:
 – Vaccination card on the 1st dose & 2nd dose
 – Negative COVID-19 report for the test taken within 72 hours prior to departure.

Travel Alert for India Bound Passengers

All passengers travelling to India must complete a 7 day home quarantine and upload their PCR test taken on the 8th day to the Air Shuvidha Portal.  Also, 2% of international passengers will be subject to random testing on arrival. Children below 5 years are exempt from post-arrival tests

Additional Travel Restrictions due to “Omicron” variant

Incoming passengers from all destinations, except children below 12 years old, must possess an RT PCR based COVID-19 negative certificate issued within 48 hours of the flight departure. All passengers travelling to Bangladesh with travel history in Botswana, Eswatini, Ghana, Lesotho, Namibia, South Africa and Zimbabwe within 14 days have to complete 14 Day mandatory institutional quarantine at government nominated hotels. Passengers must present proof of hotel booking during check-in at the previously mentioned countries. 
Airlines will verify the hotel booking before issuing the boarding pass. Airlines will also provide the Health Department with each passenger’s passport details, address and contact number in Bangladesh. 
The passengers will bear the accommodation cost for the institutional quarantine alongside the RT PCR COVID-19 tests on the 7th and 14th day of quarantine.
Passengers with positive test results for the 7th day will be further isolated. Passengers with negative tests results will continue the rest of their 14-day quarantine.
Passengers will be released depending on the RT PCR test result on the 14th day of the quarantine.

Kolkata requires a Rapid Antigen Test for inbound travellers

Guidelines for passengers travelling from Dhaka to Kolkata

All passengers, including children and infants, must register and undergo a self-paid confirmatory “Rapid Antigen Test” on arrival at Kolkata airport. [Approx, 7 USD paid with International cards only]
Each passenger must also carry a COVID-19 RT PCR negative test report with QR Code from a government-approved lab issued within 72 hours of flight departure.
Passengers should use the Air Suvidha portal to upload their negative COVID-19 RT-PCR reports and submit a self-declaration form before the scheduled travel.

Guidelines for passengers travelling from Kolkata to Dhaka:

Each passenger must carry a negative RT-PCR test report from a government-approved lab in India (ICMR) issued within 72 hours of departure date. The negative RT-PCR certificate must have a valid QR code.
The children under the age of 10 don’t require the pre-departure Covid test for Kolkata – Dhaka bound passengers.

England removes pre-departure PCR test requirements for fully vaccinated travellers

Passengers qualified as fully vaccinated for travel to England and arriving after 4 am 7 January 2022 will not need to do the following:

• Pre-departure COVID-19 test
• Quarantine in England

Passengers qualified as fully vaccinated arriving after 4 am 9 January 2022 can choose to take a lateral flow test in England instead of the PCR test. If the lateral flow test is positive, they will need to self-isolate and take a free confirmatory PCR test. Passengers must book the test before they depart for England. They can book rapid antigen Lateral Flow Test (LFT) from 4 am Friday 7 January.

Before 4 am Sunday 9 January, only PCR test after arrival is allowed.

These rules also apply to children aged 17 and under, people taking part in an approved vaccine trial, and people who cannot have a vaccination due to medical reasons.

Singapore Airlines open for transit passengers

Singapore Airlines is carrying transit passengers via Changi Airport towards available destinations. 

Passengers are advised to arrive 4.5 hours before departure at Dhaka Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Health officials will validate the print-out of the passenger’s negative COVID-19 pre-departure test result to continue to the check-in counter. Proceed to immigration clearance after completing check-in.
All passengers entering or transiting through Singapore, will require a PCR or professionally administered Antigen Test. The test will have to be taken within two days before the scheduled departure date of their flight. The requirement for a pre-departure Covid-19 test does not apply to children aged 2 years and below.

Sri Lanka Travel Advisory

Travellers aged 12 years or above need to carry a Negative report for the PCR Test taken 72 hours before travel along with a Vaccination Card in English.

Online Health Declaration for Arriving Passengers in Sri Lanka

1. Passenger will file the web-based health declaration form attaching the following documents related to the health declaration
 – Vaccination card on the 1st dose & 2nd dose
 – Covid-19 test report done within 72 hours prior to departure. 
2. Upon submission, passenger will have the facility to capture a QR code & will also receive an email with that QR code.
3. Health officials at the airport will receive the passenger information before passenger arrives at the airport & they will review the information.
4. Passengers who have submitted their health declaration forms online, shall submit the QR code (either in the email or in their mobile device) upon arrival, for scanning at the health declaration counter.

Updated Travel Advisory For India 

Effective from 1st December’21 For DAC/CGP – CCU/MAA bound passengers

1) Air Suvidha online registration should be completed with the genuine address in India & a valid contact number for further communication including the last 14 days travel history of the passenger;

2) Pre & Post arrival Covid test will be required for 5 years of age and above. Below 5 years are exempted.

3) Domestic connecting time should be on or after 6 hours (at least) for on arrival Covid test result.

4) If the results came negative they will be allowed to go for 7 days home quarantine. Re-test shall be required again on the 8th day of arrival in India

Updated Travel Advisory For Australia

Travel restrictions are now in place for people who have been in South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, or Malawi in the last 14 days.

Australian citizens, permanent residents or their immediate family members entering Australia who has been in any of these countries in the last 14 days must enter supervised quarantine for 14 days in line with state and territory requirements. This is regardless of vaccination status.

Any other travellers who have been in these countries in the last 14 days are not permitted to enter Australia. This applies even if they hold a travel exemption, eligible visa or are seeking to enter under a safe travel zone arrangement.

Restrictions may change at short notice. All travellers should check requirements in the state or territory of arrival, including quarantine and testing requirements.

Updated Travel Requirements for USA 

According to the official notifications, the following practices will come into effect for passengers, travelling to the USA as of 05.01GMT on November 8, 2021.

PRACTICES FOR U.S. CITIZENS OR IMMIGRANTS OR PASSENGERS WHO HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMITS:

Passengers aged 2 and over who are US citizens, have permanent residence permits or are in immigrant status and if they are fully vaccinated, they must submit a negative PCR/antigen test which has a sampling date no more than 3 calendar days prior to their first departure flight or documentation of recovery (COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure from a foreign country with a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating that passenger was cleared to travel.) in addition to proof of vaccination.

If they are not fully vaccinated, passengers 2 aged and above in this scope must submit a negative PCR/antigen test which has a sampling date no more than 1 calendar day prior to their first departure flight or documentation of recovery (COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure from a foreign country with a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating that passenger was cleared to travel.)  

It is mandatory and sufficient for the passengers within this scope to fill in section 1 of the attached attestation form, and the recommendations and requirements regarding the travels of our relevant passengers by the authority are available in the https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/international-travel-during-covid19.html link. 

PRACTICES FOR NON-U.S. CITIZENS OR NONIMMIGRANTS OR PASSENGERS WHO DO NOT HAVE PERMANENT RESIDENCE PERMITS: 

1-If passengers who do not have US citizenship, permanent residence or not in immigration status, and are not covered by the exception categories mentioned below, they must submit at their first departure point before their travel that they are under full vaccination coverage according to the US authorities in order to be accepted on our flights. If our passengers in this scope cannot prove that they are under full vaccination coverage at their first departure point, they will not be accepted to our flights by our station officials definitely. 

2-According to the US authorities, full vaccination coverage & criteria and accepted vaccine types are specified in the link https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/proof-of-vaccination.html  and in addition to proof of vaccination, passengers 2 aged and above in this scope must submit a negative PCR/antigen test which has a sampling date no more than 3 calendar days prior to their first departure flight or documentation of recovery (COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure from a foreign country with a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating that passenger was cleared to travel.) The test validity rules that are currently in effect continue.

• 3-Foreign Passengers who can be admitted to flights without full vaccination coverage and related applications:
• Exemptions from full vaccination requirements for passengers who do not have US citizenship or a permanent residence permit or are not in immigration status are stated as follows. Passengers 2 aged and above in this scope must submit a negative PCR/antigen test which has a sampling date no more than 1 calendar day prior to their first departure flight or documentation of recovery (COVID-19 viral test result on a sample taken no more than 90 days before the flight’s departure from a foreign country with a letter from a licensed healthcare provider or a public health official stating that passenger was cleared to travel.)
• Children under 18 years of age (Children between the ages of 2 and 17 who are not fully vaccinated, but who are travelling with a fully vaccinated parent or guardian can be tested within three days of departure; children between the ages of 2 and 17 who are not fully vaccinated, and the child is travelling unaccompanied or travelling with a parent/guardian who is not fully vaccinated, must be tested within one day of departure; children under 2 are exempted from the testing requirement. For passengers aged 2-17, their parents or companions can fill out the attestation form.)
• Persons on diplomatic or official foreign government travel
• Persons with documented medical contraindications to receiving a COVID-19 vaccine (Detailed information may be accessed via the link https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/travelers/proof-of-vaccination.html from the FAQ section.)
• Participants in certain COVID-19 vaccine trials
• Persons issued a humanitarian or emergency exception
• Persons with valid visas [excluding B-1 (business) or B-2 (tourism) visas] who are citizens of a foreign country with limited COVID-19 vaccine availability
• Members of the U.S. Armed Forces or their spouses or children (under 18 years of age)
• Sea crew members traveling with to a C-1 and D nonimmigrant visa
• Persons whose entry would be in the national interest, as determined by the Secretary of State, Secretary of Transportation, or Secretary of Homeland Security (or their designees)

3. If a passenger travels by air to the United States under one of these exceptions, the passenger will be required to attest that the passenger is excepted from the requirement to present Proof of Being Fully Vaccinated Against COVID-19 based on one of the exceptions listed above. Based on the category of the exception, the passenger may further be required to attest that:

• Passenger will be tested with a COVID-19 viral test 3–5 days after arrival in the United States unless passenger have documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days;
• Passenger will self-quarantine for a full 7 days, even if the test result to the post-arrival viral test is negative unless the passenger has documentation of having recovered from COVID-19 in the past 90 days; and
• Passengers will self-isolate if the result of the post-arrival test is positive or if the passenger develops COVID-19 symptoms.

4. Based on the category of the exception, if a passenger intends to stay in the United States for longer than 60 days passenger may additionally be required to attest that

• Passenger agrees to be vaccinated against COVID-19; and
• The passenger has arranged to become fully vaccinated against COVID-19 within 60 days of arriving in the United States, or as soon thereafter as is medically appropriate unless (for children) the passenger is too young to be vaccinated.

5. The presidential proclamation and more detailed information may be accessed on the attached document named “Proclamation and detailed info”.

Important Notes: 

• All passengers are required to fill in the attached updated attestation form at the first departure point, sign it and submit it to the station officials. These forms must be kept digitally for 2 years by the first departure stations. Section 1 part of the attached updated attestation form will be filled in by all our passengers and Section 2 part will be filled by non-US citizens or nonimmigrants or passengers who do not have a permanent residence permit by means of the following the directions given in the form. For passengers aged 2-17, their parents or authorized companions can fill out the attestation form on their behalf. For passengers who cannot fill out the form due to old age or physical or mental disability problems, accompanying passengers can fill out the form on their behalf.
• The travel ban to the USA, which is currently being applied to passengers in the People’s Republic of China, Iran, Schengen countries, the United Kingdom, the Republic of Ireland, South Africa, Brazil, and India, will end and the general application will be applied for these passengers.

Download and Update MYSEJAHTERA PRIOR to Arrival in Malaysia

All international passengers need to download and update MYSEJAHTERA PRIOR to Arrival in Malaysia. 

Although the easing of restrictions, all travellers must embrace SOP & best practices at all times.

The following is a list of Long Term Visit Passes that are allowed to enter Malaysia without having to apply through MTP / MyEntry:
1. Diplomat (Exemption Order) / Dependent / Foreign Helper
2. Employment Pass (Category I, II, III) / Dependents / Foreign Helper

3.4 Short Term Business Traveller.

This directive is effective from 1 November 2021. The entry procedure upon arrival in Malaysia is still subject to the existing immigration rules.

Australia Travel Rules & Regulations

Australia’s borders are currently closed. The only people who can travel to Australia are:

1. Australian citizens
2. Permanent residents
3. Immediate family members
4. Travellers who have been in New Zealand for at least 14 days before the date of departure. This does not include the Realm Countries of the Cook Islands and Niue. (Please note quarantine-free travel from the North Island of New Zealand is suspended until at least 11:59 pm on 31 October 2021. Quarantine free travel from the South Island can resume from 11:59 pm on 19 October 2021, subject to conditions.)

Regulations on Entering Thailand from 1 November 2021 onwards

Fully vaccinated travellers from Bangladesh are eligible to enter Thailand on the Sandbox scheme. Under this scheme, travellers (after receiving negative RT-PCR test results) can travel within a designated Province/district during the first week before travelling freely elsewhere in Thailand. There is no need for quarantine but the travellers must stay seven days in the Sandbox area (Check the list of Sandbox areas below). RT-PCR COVID 19 must be done within 72 hours before boarding.

With reference to the announcement dated 3 October 2021, the Royal Thai Embassy would like to announce the revised regulations on entering Thailand by air travel, effective from 1 November 2021 as follows:

1. “Thailand Pass” will replace the Certificate of Entry (COE) as the pre-departure registration platform for travellers entering Thailand. Please register for Thailand Pass online at . Thailand Pass QR Code will be issued for the applicant to present to airlines and Thai border control officials.
2. COE approved before 1 November 2021 remains valid to travel to Thailand. Please contact your hod directly to get a refund from the reduced night of quarantine.
3. Accompanied minors under 12 years of age who are not vaccinated, are eligible to enter under Exemption from Quarantine. The minor must wait for the RT-PCR test result in the hotel for at least I night.
4. On 21 October 2021, the Operation Centre for Measures on the Entry into and Departure from the Kingdom, and Protection of Thai Nationals Abroad approved the “List of countries and territories permitted to enter the Kingdom of Thailand for individuals under category (13)”. Eligible travellers under category (13) must have resided in the country’s territories in the list for at least 21 days before travelling to Thailand. The 21-day period could be exempted if the person previously came from Thailand and will be travelling back. Currently, travellers from Bangladesh are not yet included in the said list.

  England Travel Rules & Regulations Fully Vaccinated:Before one travels to England one must:
  1. Book and pay for a COVID-19 test – to be taken before the end of day 2 in England. complete a passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive in England

  *You will need to enter your COVID-19 test booking reference number on your passenger locator form.*If you will be in England for less than 2 days you still need to book and pay for a day 2 COVID-19 test.Not Fully Vaccinated:Before you travel to England you must:

  1. Take a COVID-19 test – to be taken in the 3 days before you travel to England
  2. Book and pay for day 2 and day 8 COVID-19 PCR tests – to be taken after arrival in England
  3. Complete a passenger locator form – to be completed in the 48 hours before you arrive

   

Italy is now open to Bangladeshi citizens

The rules are as follows:

• Presentation of complete Passenger Locator Form.
• Negative Covid test taken 72 hours before the departure.
• 10 days quarantine at the address indicated in the PLF.
• No tourist allowed yet.
• The study, family reunion, re-entry, work permit and medical treatment allowed.
• Seasonal Labour and Regular Labour Visa will also be accepted from now on.

 
International Passenger Flight Operation To/From Bangladesh

1. Flight Movement:

Following the government guidance and instruction, with immediate effect until further notice, scheduled international passenger flights to/from Bangladesh shall continue as per CAAB approved time slots/schedule. Air Bubble Flights will continue under the Air Bubble Flight operations arrangement.

2. Entry of passengers (please see the attachment for the Group of countries) of all flights:

2.1 For the Countries under Group-A:

2.1.1 Vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccine:

Travellers who completed full dose (single/double dose as applicable for a full dose) of the WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccine before 14 days of the travel date can enter Bangladesh. They must carry official proof of vaccination and after arrival, they will have to complete 7 (Seven) days of strict home quarantine.

2.1.2 Not vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccine:

Travellers without having a full dose (single/double dose as applicable for a full dose) of Covid-19

The vaccine can enter Bangladesh, provided that they will have to complete a mandatory 7 (Seven) days institutional quarantine at a government nominated facility or Hotel at their own expense. RT

PCR test will be carried out after 7 days and he/she will be released when the test result is negative.
